US/CA DataCite Community Call: DataCite DOI Metadata & Discoverability
DataCite DOIs are powered by open metadata that makes research and scholarly objects more discoverable. But what kind of metadata is needed and how does it all work? The DataCite Canada consortium and the LYRASIS DataCite US Community invite you to join us for a community call on September 14 focused on DataCite DOI metadata and discoverability to help bring more awareness to this topic across the US and Canada. Our goal is to bring our communities together to share and learn from each other as we work toward continuing to build a community of practice around DOIs (and other persistent identifiers).

On this call, we will cover an overview of DataCite DOI metadata options and hear from our guest speaker, Kelly Stathis, Technical Community Manager at DataCite, about how DataCite DOI metadata works to make objects more discoverable.
